Carrots

You may have seen some of our recent social media posts regarding certain foods that can supercharge male fertility and have some ‘uplifting’ effects in the bedroom.

Here’s a short compilation of these foods which you should definitely add to your Victoria Day Weekend Menu.

And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube

1. Carrots

Carrots are a male fertility superfood. Just look at the picture and don’t ask questions. But seriously, research suggests that the carotenoids in carrots are excellent for improving sperm count and motility.

2. Spinach

Popeye never suffered from #erectiledysfunction. Why? Too much spinach! Spinach is a huge source of folate – proven to improve your penile blood flow. Add some COOKED greens to your salad or as a side with your weekend BBQ!

3. Chili Peppers

Chilis for your D – Spice up the bedroom! They call it: “Natural Viagra”! Did you know that men who eat spicy foods have higher-than-average T-levels and that the active ingredient in chili peppers, Capsaicin, triggers the release of endorphins that can make you feeling ‘hotter’ in the bedroom?

4. AVOCADOS

When the Aztecs discovered the avocado in 500 BC, they named it āhuacatl, which translates to “testicle”. We speculate this is because of its shape – but there’s no denying the positive effects avocado can have on your #sexualhealth. Avocado is loaded with both Zinc and Vitamin E, which can increase levels of free testosterone and improve the quality of your sperm. Combine with chili peppers to make a beautiful and sexy guacamole (Need a recipe?)

5. APPLES

What’s the old saying: “An Apple a Day – keeps your D strong and healthy!”

Did you know that apples (particularly the peel) contain ursolic acid, which has been shown to starve prostate cancer cells. So crush those apples so you can continue crushing it in the bedroom…

6. WATERMELON

Did you know watermelon is a food that can improve your erection? It’s loaded with (you guessed it) WATER, and also lycopene which is an antioxidant that’s good for your heart and prostate.

Have a wonderful long weekend!
